Laura Teixeira is a visual artist and illustrator. She studied Architecture and she‘s got a Master degree at FAU-USP (São Paulo). She has also studied at Eina-UAB (Barcelona). She has published, among other titles, “Pássaro-desenho” and “Bolinha branca” (Mov Palavras, 2015) and illustrated “Pornô Chic” by Hilda Hilst (Biblioteca Azul, 2014), besides having collaborated with newspapers and magazines (Folha de São Paulo, Le Monde Diplomatique Brasil, Quatro cinco um, Cult, Stripburger, TPM, Crescer, TAM Kids, Pesquisa Fapesp). She teaches at MAM (Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo), Instituto Acaia and EBAC (British School of Creative Arts), where she is a Module Leader at BA (Hons) Illustration Programme. She has given many other courses and workshops at institutions as MASP, SESC, UNESP, Oficinas Culturais do Estado, Laboratório Emília de Formação, Escola da Cidade.
